Lindsay was diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumour in April of 2005.  Initially she started B-Strong to make hats for people suffering from hair loss from treatments.  She thought family and friends might by a few hundred and then it went viral when she appeared on Atlantic TV and then CTV.  More than 2,000 hats have been sold or donated to people facing challenges.

Lindsay went through 4 surgeries, 3 types of radiation and numerous chemo drugs.  During this time, even though all of this created plenty of challenges, she remained an extremely positive fighter who always put others first.
