Lindsay Bolger Tribute Video

Nov. 26, 2009
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Lindsay at home on November 26 at the age of 26. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends after her courageous battle with brain cancer.
Cherished daughter of John and Jo-Ann, adored sister of Michael, Ryan and his wife Erin, treasured granddaughter of Mary and Harvey Egli, and the late Catherine and Frank Bolger. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lindsay was a proud graduate of, and valedictorian at St. Francis Xavier University. She was a gifted athlete who played varsity rugby and volleyball. Lindsay will always be remembered for her incredible kindness and selfless determination to help others. She established the B-Strong Fund, which has raised over $300K through the annual B-Strong Bash, the sale of B-Strong hats, “Lindsay” Bears and the Ottawa Marathon weekend.

John, Jo-Ann, Michael, Ryan and Erin wish to express their deep love and appreciation for all the kindness shown by the community. We will miss Lindsay dearly, but she will remain forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to B-Strong for brain tumour research. Cheques should be made payable to The B-Strong Fund and sent to 12 Russell Court, Unionville, ON, L3R 2Y3.
